A friend and I work on opposite sides of town, so we decided to meet for lunch at Subs & Such, which is kind of halfway for both of us. It's a pretty small sandwich shop in a very non-descript building on Circle, just south of Platte.
They have a pretty wide menu - hot and cold sandwiches, salads, wraps, and.. some Korean food. They have Kimchee and Bul-go-ki on the menu, as well as a few other things. I wasn't really in a daring mood, so I kept it simple, and went with the Italian Sausage Sandwich.
The sausage tasted good, but I wasn't fond of the texture. It was too soft. I did like the fact that they cut it up before putting it on the sandwich, In my opinion, that makes it much easier to eat. I have to admit to disappointment in their choice of cheese. It looks like some kind of cheddar/colby tex-mex taco salad cheese mixture had been sprinkled on top of the sandwich, cold. Meh. Next time I will specify provolone, and hope they have it.
Overall, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. It is possible to get an extremely cheap meal here. A burger and fries will set you back less than five bucks! Mine was closer to $10, but I got the foot long version, and a drink. I was extremely full by the time I was done, I could barely finish it.
