No, You CAN'T Have Any Mayo Perkins

I took my dad to lunch today, and he suggested one of his old favorite's, Perkins.

We got seated right away (the place was dead), and perused the menu. I was kind of surprised at the prices, considering the place is exactly like a Denny's or a Village Inn or any of a million other similar chainr restaurants.

I ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese. I can't remember the exact name of it, and I can't find it on the menu on their website. Basically it was made using fried chicken strips, rather than a breast filet.

When the waiter brought my food, I asked for some mayo. He told me "sure", and ran off. I didn't see him again for a long time.

The sandwich itself was very good. The bread was perfectly grilled. The chicken wasn't too dry, and seemed to have actually been friend in clean grease. You can never go wrong with bacon. In all, a pretty good sandwich, although I'm not sure if it was worth 10 bucks.

When I was nearly done with my fries, the waiter came back, with no mayo. Suddenly, he realized that he forgot about it, apologized and asked if I still wanted it. I told him no.
