Fries Make Me Forget Stuff Paravicini's Italian Bistro
Eaten by Richard

Z and I headed for Paravacini's for lunch, because we wanted something good, but not something that we eat all the time. Of course, when I got there, I just kept thinking about how good the Sausage & Peppers sandwich was the last time I ate there. So, I apologize for being boring, but I ordered the same thing again this time, but with fries.

When our waitress sat down my food, I immediately dug into the fires. I was so worried that If I didn't eat them fast, they would go from being fairly good to fairly bad. Quickly. This is usually the case with fries, and these were no exception. I could sense them degrading (getting colder and softer) as I tried to pick up the pace.

Ok, so I'm kind of embarrassed about this, but it was only after I had eaten roughly 2/3rds of the fries that I realized I had forgotten to take a picture! I quickly whipped out the camera and snapped a shot of the remains.

The sandwich was good, but not quite as good as last time. I think the difference was the bread. It was very hard on top. Too hard. Almost to the point where it was work to eat it. The insides were delicious, and the bread was still good, I just wish it was a little softer.

After we were done eating, the waitress convinced us to try some dessert. I ordered Tiramisu, and Z got the Chocolate Sensation.

No complaints. The Tiramisu was a bit heavier than I expected, but it was still delicious. The chocolate thing was crazy - It had various types of chocolate crammed together - brownie, cake, frosting, chips, etc. If your a chocolate lover, you'll like this. Z said it was good, but he likes the chocolate cake at Mollica's better.

If you just get a sandwich and go, you can get out of here for around 10 bucks. If you are a glutton for punishment, and order drinks and dessert, you are looking at a lot more. My lunch ended up costing around 18 bucks after tax and tip. Ouch!
