My Favorite Kind Of Food Is Free Chipotle

The third stop in my all Mexican lunch week is Chipotle. You may think, "Hey, thats owned by McDonald's, so it doesn't count!", but I disagree, primarily because it was free.

For whatever reason, Chipotle offered to give free food to anyone with my company's badge today. Some local small business appreciation thing... or something. The reasons are really sort of irrelevant - all I care about is free food!

I got there a bit early, around 11:15, to try to beat the rush. I didn't. The place was packed, primarily with people I work with. I can only imagine what the "normal" people were thinking, dealing with tons of people in line very early, who obviously knew each other. Oh well, sucks for them.

I got my 'usual': A steak burrito bowl, with very light rice (not a huge rice fan) with pinto beans. I go for both hot salsa and medium with corn, then have them pile on the cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. I also got a bag of chips and some guacamole, and a drink. Grand total: $3.18 (I had to pay for the chips and guac)

What can I say, it was delicious, as usual. For such a corporate chain with such a sterile feeling atmosphere, they sure make great food. It's always exactly like last time - very consistent, which is why I keep coming back.

And of course, it was free, which is my favorite kind of food.

Thanks Chipotle!
