I met my dad for lunch at Chili's. We got seated right away, and our waiter was very attentive and friendly.

I love the skillet queso and chips, so that what I got to start off the meal. If you haven't had it, its basically a chili cheese dip, served with a basket of chips.

For lunch, I ordered the Turkey Combo Sandwich. It's half of a turkey sandwich, and a bowl of soup. I got the Chicken Enchilada soup, which is usually thick and yummy, but today, it seemed a bit thin. It still tasted okay, though.

The food wasn't stellar, but it was about what I expected. The queso was excellent - sometimes it can be too thin, but ours was thick and meaty. The turkey on my sandwich looked kind of weird, almost like it was pressed together, like bologna, instead of sliced, but it tasted alright. I've had it before though, and thought it was better; I think they changed it up, perhaps to save cost.

Overall, it was a good lunch, I don't see my dad as often as I should, so I enjoyed it. The service was great, and the food was decent.
