The newest Taste of Philly is on Academy and North Carefree, tucked in the strip mall behind Bennigan's. Its easy to miss if you don't know where to look, but its worth the effort to find it!

After dropping my motorcycle off at the shop, I decided to take my family out to eat. I'm always craving a good Italian sausage, so we ended up here. Their orders of fries are huge, so we usually just get one to share with the family (plus my 9 yr old gets some with his kids meal). The girls like it smothered with cheese.

The Italian sausage at this place is awesome. The sausage itself is sliced into bite sized pieces, which makes it a lot easier to eat. It's covered with tomato sauce, and topped with melted provolone. It's not spicy at all, but is loaded with flavor. I love cheesesteak too, but I usually get the sausage when I come here (I think there are better cheesesteaks to be found in town).

My wife and daughter both got mushroom steaks - and both ended up bringing half home, my son got a PB&J with more cheesy fries. Of course we all got drinks too.

With great food and fast, friendly service in a sit down restaurant environment, its hard to beat A Taste Of Philly. And to top it all off, this place is a steal: I was able to feed my family of four for just over 30 bucks, including tip!
